Hats and horses

Almost weekend again! That reminds me of the Kentucky Derby Cinco de Mayo party I went to last Saturday. Hats were required, horses and Mexicans preferred. The latter two were, to everyone's disappointment, a no-show.

Bear with the laundry

Do you think it's necessary for a city to have a laundromat for mosómedve (wash bear/ raccoon) do its own laundry? Free hanging on the side of the building is a plus for those in doubt.

Look at the shape of my body in this dress. Pretty amazing if I can say so. My whole life my hips have been wider than my chest.

It turned out it was only the angle of the picture and it doesn't look like all my ribs were removed, at all.

Hilton shabby chic

Hilton Budapest's new interior is shabby chic. A bit late to pick up on the trend some would say but it's okay.

I do give them credits for the new concept, shabby chic lunch. I choose an interesting combo of rose wine and lentil stew.

Actually this was at MŰSZI at Corvin, really cool place. You should go if you have the opportunity.

Absolootely

Since it's May 1st which is workers day in most European countries. I love to celebrate my work with a day off, they don't come often enough though. Work should be fun and if it's not a little nice hand made book to take notes in can always cheer you up a little bit. These are from the Hungarian brand Absoloot.

If a a nice book isn't enough it can be used mixed with some stronger company  to get that cheering up effect but the effect on work can't be guaranteed.
